I used to know how to do this but i've forgotten and ISP isn't too user friendly

326877 2005-02-20 21:58:00 OK, so you're saying that box to tick to save password is greyed out?

First you need to check the network settings:

Right-Click Network Neighbourhood icon on the desktop and select Properties.
Make sure you have listed either of 'Client For Microsoft Networks' or 'Microsoft Family Login' or both, it doesn't matter.
Then you should have a Dial-up Adaptor and you might also have a network card listed if your PC has one.
Then you should have TCP/IP (if you have a network card as well it will be listed twice)
Check that the Primary network login is set to Client for Microsoft Networks or Microsoft Family login.

If one of these is missing you will need to add them buy clicking the Add button.
