| 326789 | 2005-02-20 05:13:00 | Yeah, I suffer from it too. The wife does not want me to touch the lappie anymore - "your AV and similar programs are slowing it down, my friend said". Now this is probably true, so how do I get into her good graces again - I've checked the lappie and ran the various WinXP cleanout programs, without much luck. And I can only speculate on speed - got no idea whether anything is actually speeding up - usually just ask the wife (and cower behind a rock for fear of enormous amounts of bloodletting). Any suggestions? LOL sarel |
