Since playing with Nero image drive and various cda to mp3 trials and then deleting them my comp. has become very "sick" . It only starts in 16 colours (not 16 bit) with low res., if I try to change the colours it invaribly shuts down.I did the Msconfig but am not sure what to do with this info. |

Forgot to say win 98se. (EVERYTHING WAS WORKING FINE)..When I try to change display settings the title of this thread is the message I get. |

Hi I went to that thread which took me to Microsoft, then typed an enormous address tab which Micros.. could not find. Got cheesed.. Decided to reinstall Win98se from my CD.It went well until it said :Unable to load odbc control panel (odbccp32.dll). 1114: A dll initialization routine failed.... I thought that everything reqd. to run windows would be on the cd, so what is going on. My comp still started in 16 colours and would not show a control panel window. |
