Hi, i've been getting this message (D:\ is not accessible) on the kids computer everytime i try to use the cd rom drive. I've checked Device Manager and it says all is well?. Has the cd rom crapped out?.
I have a spare one i can put in if it has. I just dont want to put it in if its not and its something else. |

The CD drive may just be dirty. What type media are you trying to read, original, CDR, CDRW? |

Mabey one of the kids put something in the drive (you DID say it was a kids computer) and hit/damaged the lens. And there IS a CD in there, isn't there. |
