327425 2005-02-22 19:27:00 I am running XP and am trying to free up some hard drive space. I tried to delete the games I no longer wanted, but they keep reappearing. I have tried removing by simplying locating them in my System32 and deleting and also by using the remove components window within the Control Panel/Add remove programmes. They remove to the recycle bin, but then reappear again. Ahhhggh!! Is there a way to delete these permanently? Please use basic language as I'm fairly computer illerate. Thanks Aporosa (5671)

327429 2005-02-22 21:09:00 That will free up about 12Mb, hardley worth it.

But if you must press on

Control panel
Add or Remove Programs
Windows Compenents
Accessories
Games
Untick Games

How long after you remove them do they reapear?
You could switch off System Restore
