| 327661 | 2005-02-24 23:45:00 | Um ok we having a blonde day then J & M ?? i said before all those boxes ticked nothing has changed, they were that way to begin with........!!!! previous post - boxes that are supposed to be ticked are. got it now? i didnt change any settings, before i changed, during the change or now....so why are they no longer working....??? they still not working....... dont worry about it any more i can live with it..... not here near as much as i was unless i have probs so no biggy The what do you mean change it question was aimed at Chill sorry. |

| 327666 | 2005-02-25 01:40:00 | Ok uninstalling cos a reinstall of adblock and flashblock made no difference. now new problem has surfaced, apart from the fact i have to use IE, and im real rusty with it and forgot about lack of tabs....LOL cannot remove FF 1.0 from caontrol panel > add/ remove? apparently i had 2 lots of it.....:( 0.9 and 1.0 so that could have been the problem, as it says i was using 0.9 not 1.0??? lol now i uninstalled 0.9, but the 1.0 is stuck how will i get rid of it so i can reinstall and get rid of IE again???????????? help please. b |

| 327667 | 2005-02-25 02:07:00 | Beetle Options might be to: 1. delete the FF directory from within Windows Explorer 2. then run a registry cleaner to remove any references to FF 3. reinstall FF. I had a similar problem when I install FF 1.0 on top of FF 0.9 The above fixed it for me. |

| 327669 | 2005-02-25 02:39:00 | i had problems when i updated to 1.0 from 0.9 as well... a "fresh" install seems the best way to go. i would save a backup copy of the registry before you go making changes File > Export (will save a .reg file) |
