| 328261 | 2005-02-25 23:05:00 | I'm going to network my kids computer(windows 98) to mine(xp home). The network card i want to install in the kids computer is an intel pci card and has some wires with a plug on the end coming off it. Do i need to connect this plug to anything? If so, where/what do i connect it too?. Thanks in advance. |

| 328263 | 2005-02-25 23:17:00 | Hmm cant say ive heard of wires coming out of a NIC. If its onboard, all u need is a ethernet cable.. and a crossover cable or hub. Can this thing with wires come out?? It might be an adaptor. That needs to be connected to an ethernet cable.. Sounds like a crossover cable.. |
