| 328145 | 2005-02-25 14:10:00 | I am planning to give my OS, XP Home, a partition of it's own. Do I need to include the I386 folder? Are there any other folders that I should include? :) | Vince (406) | ||
| 328146 | 2005-02-25 14:40:00 | Just give XP a partition of about three gig it will add the needed folders. I am assuming you are going to create a data partition for all your work | mikebartnz (21) | ||

Are there any other folders that I should include? :) The I386 is if you want, in effect, the CD on your partition. Handy if iWindows ever needs to load some extra files but probably not likely to be a regular occurence, easier to just get the CD back out if that situation should ever arise. Uness your hard drive is enormous and you have tons of space. :-) |

I am assuming you are going to create a data partition for all your work I have two 80GB drives. I intend to give separet partitions to OS, Programs, Data and Ghost Image. I was thinking of restoring the OS from the Ghost image after partitioning C. Does that sound alright to you? |
