| 327944 | 2005-02-24 21:03:00 | Trying to network windows 2k3 servers over a selection of bearers and i'm having trouble with 56k dialup which I thought would be the easiest. I have two servers set up and it works fine if I connect using a connection created in "network connections" but if I connect using the connection in RRAS (which I need to do so that I can make the server decide which connectiong to use based on request) then the computer that I connect too (the dialup server) gets "request timed out" when trying to ping back. (the dialup client gets connection fine no mater how connection is made) No setting are changed on the dialup server, and the settings for both connections are exactly the same. .... only changing the way the connection is dialed. I take it that the rras server is blocking the connection coming back based on some policy but where to do I find this policy or is it something else? Sully |
