IFit IS a jpg file then it should open directly in internet explorer..........have you virus scanned that file ? (right clik on it then use the 'scan with..... option).......otherwise try irfanview that'll open ANY image file..... |

What is your OS (Win XP)? Do you have any photo programs installed? Did you save the jpeg photo to your hard drive and then try to open it from there (rather than from your email platform)? Most OS's will open it with the default photo viewer program, but you can try to use a separate photo program e.g. The Gimp or IrfanView (both freebies). Lastly, be sure that the saved file has the ".jpeg" ending, or try deleting the "E" and save it as a ".jpg" |

Why not try opening the JPEG file with Microsoft Paint (mspaint.exe)? Just go to Start > Run, type in "mspaint" (without the quotation). Click File and Open, locate the directory where the JPEG file is located and open it. |

Are you able to view other jpeg files or just not this particular one? The file may have been corrupted during transfer. You could ask your contact to email it to you instead. |
