| 327895 | 2005-02-24 09:39:00 | Well, everytime I System Restore ( I get lots of problems with programs ), everytime I System Restore, my Server Browser usuallly gave me 80-100 ping but when I restore, it goes to 100-110 ping . Also, when I reset my Modem, it does the same thing . Now, I lag hard in CS and I don't get lower ping . :groan: Can you please help me? :P I just need help on tweaking and fiddling with Settings to fix this . And no, i'm not dumb :D I know how to use a Computer and I am willing to take a risk so I can fix this . AsH *EDIT* When I say "Server Browser" i'm talking about the Steam Server Browser ;) |

| 327898 | 2005-02-24 18:46:00 | Ok so you normally get 80 - 100 but now you're getting 100 - 110. It's a 30ms difference... very neglible. A bit like trying to polish a turd if you ask me. What servers are you using. Do you get the same pings on different servers? What are your system specs? cheers chiefnz |
