| 328634 | 2005-02-27 02:50:00 | I have windows xp home and after i recently reinstalled windows my samsung CDRW drive wont work properly anymore. Under windows explorer it shows as a CD drive and in Nero burning rom I can't select it as the recording device, only the image recorder comes up. | ad_267 (6193) | ||

| 328637 | 2005-02-27 05:27:00 | Hmm yup drivers are only needed if u want to use a cd in DOS. XP usually detects most things. Are you using any other cd writing software besides Nero?? CD Creator or something similar?? |

| 328641 | 2005-02-27 05:42:00 | Maybe Nero needs to be updated. Its up to 6.6.0.8 now. Not too sure if the serial (if u have one) will work with the latest version tho. Or see if theres a firmware update for your burner. Does Infotool (in the nero menu) detect this burner at all? And give u all the info and firmware version it has now?? | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
| 328642 | 2005-02-27 05:48:00 | Ad, did the version of Nero u have come with the cd writer?? If it didnt thats why it doesnt work. Nero is an OEM version and if u replaced the cd writer. it wont work. You need another serial for Nero but not an OEM serial #. |
