The product key on the side of the box is missing 5 digits making it impossible to reload. PC us Dell Optiplex GX 150 bought in America. | 328615 | 2005-02-27 04:29:00 | When you say that you are "missing 5 digits" can we assume part of the sticker is missing? No program can "recover" the key on a new hard drive, as you say it is not installed so is simply non-existant at this stage. It does not exist on the CD either. However I am sure a phone call to MS would recover the situation, given you have "most of" the key. |
