| 329262 | 2005-03-01 05:45:00 | Using XPpro. Had a webcam bought as a birthday present and wish to send a video from it. No problem making the video, but when sent in OE it has a WMV extension. On trying to open the email it comes up with "Create an association in the folder options control panel" When I go to Folder options and view the files, WMV is there among loads of other extensions. What do I have to do to associate it with my email? I had a similar problem a little while ago with a PPS ext and received expert advice, but unfortunately didn't keep a note of it. Help Help. | 329264 | 2005-03-01 06:20:00 | Nerovision, and other programs can load WMV files . Email / Email programs will only be able to send it to someone not actually open it once u get it . As it says, u have to associate it with a program like Nero/Nerovision, something that knows what a WMV file is . What program in file types was / is it associated with?? If it is currently associated with a filetype, all you have to do, is download it from your email, and save it somewhere, then whatever program is currently associated with WMV files, should load/run it . |

| 329265 | 2005-03-01 06:42:00 | And in case this ever happens again, here is a website where you can search for various extensions. Type in the extension letters, click go; and it will tell you what the extension is, and what programme(s) its associated with. http://filext.com/ |
