| 329157 | 2005-02-28 23:02:00 | I hope some wonderful person can help me. My new laptop has Office 2003 on it but Word 2003 is driving me crazy. 4 some reason it won't just allow me to change only the text I have highlighted - it changes the whole document. It is obviously stuck on some kind of default setting but don't know where to look anymore to take this off. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!! |

To turn off autoformatting of styles go to Tools > AutoCorrect options and under the "Autoformat" tab remove the tick from boxes referring to "Styles". You may have to experiment a little to see which ones need to be ticked and unticked. I have Word 2002 so the options may be a little different. If that doesn't help please provide more detailed information as it could be something else. |
