| 328994 | 2005-02-28 08:42:00 | Hiya, Im hoping someone can help. I have recently built a new PC. Specs will follow. It seems when I play games, Star Wars Battlefront or Raven Shield the display goes skew, walls and sprites become distorted. will try and post a screenshot as its hard to explain. AMD 939 3500+ MSI K8N Neo4 Gecube R X600XT PCI-e 1024MB Transcend SDRAM 200GB SATA seagate 7200.7 HD 160GB SATA seagate 7200.7 HD Windows XP home SP2 I have tried trouble shooting, tried updating all drivers. so far no luck. I've had no other problems surfing the net, playing movies etc. everything else seems ok. Drivers; BIOS: Phoenix - AwardBIOS v6.00PG DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904) Driver ati2dvag.dll Driver Version: 6.14.0010.6497 (English) standard install on everything, no overclocking. ok, i've added some clues to teh screen shot. The red box should show a outside belcony with a downwards stairway. Instead theres a mess, hence the problem.screen shot (forums.overclockers.co.nz) The blue oval should be seemless sky with that needle tower in the middle. Any ideas? :annoyed: Cheers, Vic. |

| 328995 | 2005-02-28 08:52:00 | eek. sorry to tell you this, but i had the exact same problem with an old GF4 Ti card. i took it in and had it tested. it came back and was told me VESA RAM was fried. Jams |
