I have an old AST Ascentia A Series laptop and it is beeping at me when it starts up (post error codes) and so it is indecating that the C-Mos battery is flat. But i am wandering... how do you pull it to bits to change the c-mos battery :@@: Please Help |

But i am wandering... how do you pull it to bits to change the c-mos battery :@@: Please Help If you need to ask, then the answer is carefully Disassembling a laptop can be rather like microsurgery, it is very easy to do permanent damage if you do it wrong. It is very easy to do it wrong. Ideally you need a manual to detail the correct sequence to disassemble, but that could be hard to find for an old laptop (I think its about a P150 CPU). |
