| 331253 | 2005-03-06 08:52:00 | I recently upgraded to Jetstream ADSL from 56k dial up.Using an older copy of Zonealarm Pro on XP Pro/SP2 and my dialup connection I would always get a perfect stealth score testing with Sheilds Up at www.grc.com. However now I am using the latest version of Zonealarm with my ADSL connection and only show 2 ports as stealth and all the others as closed when testing with Sheilds Up. I have uninstalled Zonealarm and tested with the XP/SP2 firewall which produced exactly the same result.Can any one give me some idea as to why this is and any other suggestions to help with my firewall security. |

| 331257 | 2005-03-06 10:40:00 | how is it connected? usb or lan? check the lan card setting in ZA is on internet for starters. i'm just wondering if the sheildsup scan is being stopped by the adsl modem ie its the adsl modem reporting ports are closed not ZA. check your settings of the adsl modem. |
