| 330807 | 2005-03-05 04:11:00 | I have recently completed a clean install of XP SPS2 I can not process an update. I get a message that says a required service application is disabled. I have followed the instructions but get confused before I can complete a remedy Has any one got a better worded fix for this :badpc: poblem ? |

| 330810 | 2005-03-05 04:41:00 | What was the name of the service that required starting first? Was it "Automatic Updates" or "Cryptographic Services"? For Cryptographic Services it needs to be set on either Manual or Automatic for Windows Update to work. You can access the services by going into the Admin Tools from the Control Panel and then to Services. |
