1366481 2014-01-31 06:57:00 Just curious about this. Still using a 5yr old PC, do modern motherboards still have PS/2 ports and if not do USB ports gets emulated so that they still work in BIOS and with an old boot disk/CD?

Cheers.

1366483 2014-01-31 07:49:00 Yes you normally get one ps/2 port, especially on enthusiast boards as most mechanical keyboards still use ps/2 (as well as having support for USB). As for BIOS support, some newer ps/2 keyboards have set modes designed to make them work properly in the bios. Once again enthusiast level hardware is more likely to have onboard support for PS/2 keyboards in the BIOS. icow (15313)
1366484 2014-02-02 04:13:00 We have a couple of intel server boards at work with no ps2, PITA when we are still using a kvm.. These work, but havent had to try them in raid setup or bios config yet..
