1366380 2014-01-29 20:40:00 Yup, and its about that hard to explain to someone who has never watched the game too. Webdevguy (17166)
1366381 2014-01-29 21:54:00 Doesnt quite ring true, far too much action in that vid.
Spread that 1 vid out across 3 days & you have something more like cricket :-)

Its 2014, who has time to go & watch a 3 day game ??

1366382 2014-01-29 22:07:00 Me :thumbs:

...and probably a bunch of other old farts as well!

Anyway, the Yanks have got a lot to answer for. I watched a You Tube clip about making a LED cube and the guy kept saying "...then sodder it all together. Here was me thinking he was going to give it a bit up the rear, until he whipped out his soldering iron and SOLDERED the connections.

LOL, think of it as a fast forwarded video.....

Husband watched and said he couldn't understand what the narrator was saying - I said - exactly.

:lol::lol:

Took me back to the days of steam-driven radio, when Dad would sit glued to it and hearing it for days in a row.

The rules were Dad was to be left alone quietly slurping on his DB (in a brown quart size bottle) and was not to be spoken to / at for the duration. The house was a conversation-free zone and was to remain noise-less (except for the radio); Dad was not to be disturbed even if the house was burning down.

Even way back then, the game never made any sense ...

Makes more sense than American ball. I refuse to call it football as it has nothing in common with the beautiful game

1366387 2014-01-30 08:29:00 Given the weird american take on 'football' manages to take 3 - 4 hours for a 60 minute game, I don't see how they can bag cricket's pace - especially T20/ODI! :P inphinity (7274)

Don't they have to wear tights and shoulder pads?
