1366511 2014-02-02 00:16:00 I wonder if that doesn't have something to do with a certain German-speaking resident of Coatesville having acquired shares in Orcon? Caveat emptor.

:xmouth:

1366512 2014-02-02 04:02:00 Still be GPS sold in 5yrs I think. Not everyone would have latish model cars with builtin ones.
I expect our 1998 / 2004 year car without GPS still be working then. Bought used.

Video store yeah .. one video store near us sold but the customer database got transferred to other one - that legal

I cannot think of anything that may go out in 5yrs, that's pretty soon my signature 5yr old PC hope it still work up to then. Heck I had 2 10yr old PCs here. They're still selling DVD machines now

Maybe we would see electronic voting?

1366515 2014-02-02 21:55:00 perhaps saying as good as dead would be a better description....
after all, you can still buy floppies, casette tapes & VHS tapes after all this time.
And valves(electronic) are still around and will never die off .

Cheapie camera's: I still find it hard to believe when I see tourists using a 10" ipad/tablet as a camera .

1366518 2014-02-03 00:43:00 i remebered at school printing a school essay - dot matrix took 5min to print a page (with Times New Romans font). was a mistake getting a color one but then our 2nd printer we went for a b/w laser. Nomad (952)

1366520 2014-02-03 06:23:00 The way Tech is advancing can see the humble Hard Drive being a scarce item in 5 years time being replaced by SSD's though the downward price trend should flatten out as more migrate over as the price trends down Lawrence (2987)
