| 1366391 | 2014-01-31 08:04:00 | Well, it's as dull as cricket, but far more cerebral. Liked the memories of dad at the radio listening to some dull-ass sport. Also remember with dread that it was a valve radio, with its flat monotones, crackles, whistles and whines. We are sooooo very lucky to have digital tuners and FM these days - not that it matters a toss if all you listen to is cricket and the horse races. What an obscenely boring life to live relishing cricket and races on the 'wireless'. No wonder theres a drug and alcohol culture if cricket and horse racing are the alternative passtimes. Someone should tell these guys about women! |
