1365909 2014-01-24 01:33:00 Id suggest starting with a front end scripting language like Javascript just to get you into the fundamentals (unless you would find JavaScript too easy to learn) then go for something like PHP and MY SQL for back end and database, After that you could try something cool like Ruby on Rails since there is a growing demand for it.

After that - Java, Perl, etc
Learning Java would set you up for writing apps for Android
Learning Objective-C would set you up for writing apps for iPhone would would have more potential earning power.

There is a growing demand for developers and web devs who are familiar with the various JavaScript frameworks like Node.js

If you are good at teaching yourself then Id suggest signing up with something like Codeschool or Codecademy (free) or doing some courses on Lynda.com

It would also be good to have a play with HTML, CSS etc since it is pretty bog standard stuff for web design and universal.

1365910 2014-01-24 03:29:00 I have about 26GB of CBT files, a few from CBTnuggets and some from Lynda.com; I should try and get around to viewing these and working on them. I did have some software in mind, but as I don't use that website anymore it's not high on the priority list. At the moment I'd probably like a piece of software to kill my 4770k and 270x, though I know theres plenty out there already it always feels better when you do it yourself :)

- By kill I mean stress test the living hell out of it for no particular reason except I spent alot of money for something I will barely use to its full potential... -- maybe a bitcoin(or similar crypto-currency) script that scraps the available resources would be nice.

Mostly for SQL, C# and PHP I think. Also have some linux material (I would love to start being able to use linux alot more, so much less resource hogging and much more secure)

1365911 2014-01-24 06:53:00 The A.D.F. accepts the A4 paper, reels it in about half way then paper progress stalls, plenty of whirring noises and things happening though, eventually gives paper jam message, the paper does not progress past the original place it ceased to move.

I can assist it through the dead spot and it will continue as normal.

It appears there are three successive driven rubber spindles and the second one stops too early and does not pass on the the third set.

Further checking reveals that all rubber wheels are working but the synchronization between the second two of them is wrong.

There is definitely no blocking material of any sort or any stiffness in the paper path.

All gears appear intact, it seems to me that it is an electronic timing error which I think is very unlikely but can't see any other problem as all rubber drive do work at times, just not in the correct timing.

I really need another one to check against but little chance of that.
