| 331312 | 2005-03-06 20:42:00 | the cyber cafe, where I help out has a little managment app for its computers, which used to work fine until the owner re-installed his main computer and re-loaded the app . Now the "client" computers wont chat to the "managers" computer . A message says that it can't be reached on the network etc . Ping works fine between the machines, any ideas of some hardcore networking reason these wont communicate? I even looked at the protocols to see what is going on |

| 331313 | 2005-03-07 04:16:00 | Does this unknown little manager's app need re-configuring for the network? Have a look in its settings. If the machines can ping each other sounds like something is working. What about viewing the shared folders on the other machines, can you still do this? Have you looked at any firewall settings to see if they are blocking this app? :) | Jen (38) | ||

| 331315 | 2005-03-10 22:05:00 | Seems it was a disk issue, or more to the point a file system. Only FAT would work, didn't like NTFS. | Blade2 (6577) | ||
