| 331855 | 2005-03-08 09:19:00 | Any recomendations for a firewall which supports internet connection sharing - preferrably freeware or free for home use. I'm still using an older version of Kerio (2.1.5) as they dropped support for ICS in later versions. ...... and before someone suggests I should Google it, "yes" I have searched but haven't been able to find one that supports ICS. Would like to know what others are using. Lucy :) |

You could try this http://smb.sygate.com/ Or http://www.jetico.com/ Which is pretty new, but not sure if it supports ICS. But its free. If u use XP and it's firewall, thats better than nothing, u can enable ICS in XP. That'll work fine. |

Jetico looks promising, may give that a try . Don't really want to use proxy software so if all else fails will just stick to the older version of Kerio I'm using now . I am running XP on both machines but don't want to rely on just XP firewall and I like the extra control that an independent firewall gives . Cheers Lucy |
