| 331875 | 2005-03-08 11:02:00 | hi there went to microsoft updates and says theres an option now to download only updates for sp1, but when i clicked on the link there was so many links for updates , wasnt able to specifically find the link to download sp1 updates only. |

| 331880 | 2005-03-08 20:00:00 | Win XP SP1a (www.microsoft.com), enjoy BTW, if you want to keep the download, get the Network download in the right hand column. It's a good policy to that anyway, saves re-downloading. BTW 2, You might find this page useful (jmfmvps.mvps.org). |

| 331881 | 2005-03-08 20:19:00 | If u do get SP1a, it doesnt have Java. Which some sites need. So, you'll have to get Sun Java, if you use IE or whatever browser you use. I hope you've got a decent firewall as well. There's been a lot of updates since SP1, and if u get hit by some kind of worm, you only have yourself to blame. Thats why there are so many posts in here, with people having probs, with worms etc, because they havent bothered to update their systems, with the MS updates that patch vulnerabilities in Windows/IE/OE. |
