| 332476 | 2005-03-09 23:58:00 | i didnt touch it. Liar! What did you do when it asked for a Profile, did you cancel or make a new one. IIRC, from the dialogue box you can browse to the C:\Documents and Settings\your User Name\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\profiles.ini |

Sometimes when that happens, it asks to run another instance of Firefox through another profile. |

| 332481 | 2005-03-10 09:25:00 | Next time that this happens to you, Beetle, you should go cntl/alt/del and see if an instance of FireFox is still running before you do anything drastic. If one is running, as I quite often find after an incident like you just had, then I shut it down using task manager and then everything works fine again without a re boot, just start fireFox again. | zqwerty (97) | ||
| 332482 | 2005-03-10 09:43:00 | UM I beleive that this is a good idea, but that requires thinking and that doesnt happen round here much, lately if ever....:p thanxs for the jog of thought to do occasionally, will try to remember that if i ever get stuck again. beetle |
