sorry but been there tried that and failed big time. stick to the standard motherboard swap advice reguardless of chipset.

332879 2005-03-14 06:14:00 Ok, thanks alot, this has put alot of my questions to
rest. I have actually got Windows Xp on disk (Not a
restore disk), and about the DDR I meant, does DDR400
mean 400 pins?

I dont have any other Hard Drives nor is the new Motherboard
of the same chipset as my current board. So I guess I'll
have to just try and get into windows first, then try
and copy everything I want to disk, otherwise do a Dirty Install
to another directory, copy the files, then do the Format.

Thanks alot
