| 332849 | 2005-03-11 12:08:00 | Use the hard drive maker diagnostic tools (or maybe HP in your case) to check for sure. They are found on the ultimate boot cd (http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/) for example. |

| 332850 | 2005-03-12 00:09:00 | Thanks gibler but i couldnt find the tool for the IBM drive in the laptop. I tried to format hard drive using normal format command and then it says " trying to recover allocation unit message 21565" and it has been like that for 8 hrs now with the number changing in increments of 1. I am just hoping it may fix it. |
