| 333255 | 2005-03-12 01:14:00 | Not sure this is the right place to ask but.... Sister has bought a laptop doesn't want it, never used it. I fired it up to see what it's got on it and specs. pentium R4 28.8 DVD RW + CD (presumably RW also, didn't say) 37 gig HDD 192 megs Ram NTFS XP home with SP 1 Agere AC'97 modem Complete with carrying case. I have honestly had it going for maybe ten minutes to run through the setup and have a look at the specs. What do you think is a fair price. She paid $2,500 for it. (thereabouts, maybe $4,995 sort of thing) Tia m |

| 333256 | 2005-03-12 08:03:00 | On my way through Dick Smith today I stopped of to check out what they had on laptops. Looked (not interested in buying) at an asus p4 3.06 , has everything yours has plus more memory, built in card reader, wide screen LCD and it's an Asus :) . that was going for $2100 and change. You are probably looking at around $1400 tops But for $1300 Joe Public can buy a brand new acer Laptop which is pretty crappy but it can go on the never never pay plan and it comes with a full warranty Yours is in a tricky price range to sell. |
