333082 2005-03-11 09:06:00 ummm... what?

If adaware did that, you obviously didn't get the offical version. Things have changed since then, and now it's one of the best programs you can get

333083 2005-03-11 09:15:00 I am running windows xp and have run spybot, would prefer not to get ad aware as last time i ran that prog it deleted files i needed to run windows and stopped me from logging online lol so not a good program for me.

If you don't like Ad-Aware then try MS spyware removal.

Ad-Aware is known to cause problems by being a bit aggressive and deleting files that are necessary. The instructions need to be read carefully to avoid causing more problems than you already have.

333085 2005-03-11 09:42:00 yeah luckily i have compaq restore lol and was able to restore back to earlier time, did read about the ad aware but i would have to know ins and outs of every program on my computer to know what filename to delete and not delete, some of the files that came up i wouldnt have a clue what they were and just to leave them there doesnt help either lisamarie01 (6731)
333086 2005-03-11 09:47:00 If you don't like Adaware, theres always Spybot Search and Destroy
