| 333105 | 2005-03-11 09:01:00 | After saving a bunch of work (MS Works documesnts) from an old Win ME machine before it died... I am now having trouble getting any programs to recognise the files..... I am about to purchase MS Ofiice academic version tomorrow... will this be able to load the files or will they stil not be recognised...? Is there any program that will convert between formats for me... The old computer with MS Works is now dead so I cannot load the documents on that to convert them.... Anyone have any ideas.... | 333106 | 2005-03-11 09:05:00 | Which version of Works was it? Word 2000 can open Works 4.0 files and save them as Word docs, and I don't think it is limited to V4.0 either, I have opend V3.0 files successfully. Similarly, Excel 2000 can open Works spreadsheet files. Cheers Billy 8-{) |
