| 333973 | 2005-03-14 14:26:00 | I hava a problem with Lite-on DVDRW SOHW-16535. when i want to burn DVD disk it does not begin to write. with CD buring everythink is ok, but DVD does not work. i was tried with all programs i knew nero, media10, burnDVD and others. Can you tell where is the problem? P.S. sorry that my english is a little bit broken, I am foreigner :) |

| 333974 | 2005-03-14 18:01:00 | Have yuo tried using a different type of disc, e.g a different brand? also make shure that the dvdburner is a master on an ide channel, it doesnt matter so much about cd writers, but the dvd burners need more bandwith. if you are running your harddisk and the dvd burner of one ide channel, see if there is another ide cable around and use that for the dvd burner. |

| 333975 | 2005-03-14 20:13:00 | Hello Tomass, Go to this link, www.liteonit.com Download the latest firmware for your drive, follow the instructions exactly. Liteon are very good in regard to updating their drives firmware (normally every month or two) to support the influx of different dvd media flooding the market at the moment. I only wish that all manufacturers took this approach in regard to support. Regards AC |

| 333976 | 2005-03-14 22:31:00 | Well mine (same model) doesn't have a problem and I haven't updated the firmware. Something obvious - with Nero I can select DVD drive or CD drive as the "drve" its going to use. Its not trying to write to the DVD thinking its a CD? |
