333841 2005-03-14 06:33:00 No problems here. I have been with Ihug for 10 years + and have been hooked up via Wired Country as soon as it became available. :) CliveM (6007)

333844 2005-03-14 08:36:00 If only the Telecomonopoly was forced to unbundle Telecom would lose all of my business overnight - to ihug more than likely.

I had no Bliink issues once Telecom decided to give ihug reconfigure/give access to my phone line or whatever.

It's hard for me to believe Telecom weren't doing that go slow intentionally - they evry quickly lowered their prices when Bliink was launched.

Cheers

Are you using a mobile phone to write this?

If the question here is "What is a PABX (www.google.co.nz)" then you dont have one. I am guessing that the $150 is to pay for a technician to visit to instal a splitter at your house. The only reason this should happen if, you have a monitored alarm (but you dont) or you have a complicated phone system, ie PABX or the like (but I dont think you have) or you have more than 5 connected phones (incl SKY, which I dont know) or you are just out of the recommended distance from the exchange.

So if they are going to charge you $150 then at least get them to explain, I am a little lost why they cant explain this.

333849 2005-03-14 19:17:00 Ive been using Ihug for approx 8 years I believe... Been pretty good all the way :)

No issues with bliink, its great!
No port-throttling, always reach over & above the 32KB/s download limit. Spent about an hour downloading at just over 40KB/s yesterday :)

Cheers
