| 333482 | 2005-03-12 20:42:00 | I tried uninstalling and reinstalling from a disc (from Netguide :o ) but the uninstaller doesn't remove all the settings and I found that the old product registration was still there. I tried to get into the Control Centre from the Test Centre page but that won't work either. Running w98SE. Tried Housecall and CA Etrust but nothing found. Ran Adaware and Spybot with the same negative results. I did think of installing Ashampoo and uninstalling AVG again then reinstalling from the CD or web. Forgot to say that the email scanner is still working. Any ideas? |

| 333483 | 2005-03-12 21:50:00 | Did you shut it down completely when you unistalled the first time? Did you get any error or information messages? Ashampoo should do the job, do you have the full or rtial version. I'm not sure whether the trial will actually carry out the process. |
