| 333552 | 2005-03-13 02:52:00 | I am in the process of scoping out what needs to be done to build a home theatre pc (htpc) This pc will sit in my lounge with my tv and receiver. I have now become a bit confused as i have been looking at TV tuner cards, which obviously take the tv signal and display it onscreen and allow you to save it to the harddisk. However there are graphic cards out there that have a myvivo option, which from what i read allows you to save tv to your computer. I don't understand what the difference is. From what i gather, with the TV tuner card i would have the aerial going into the back of it and use the remote to change channels. with the myvivo i would have a cable come off the tv into the back of the videocard and capture video that way. So what are the pros/cons thanks |

You can download updated drivers from the leadtek site, and the program for the tuner . With this tuner as uve said u can record from the tuner to tv . And after burn it to DVD, if u want to . Its a great tuner . This is a PCI card |
