334542 2005-03-15 22:24:00 I have a Dell DImension 2350 and had to reinstall the operating system, Windows XP. Now my Logitech QuickCam Express won't work. I've reinstalled the drivers, deleted it, reinstalled it, downloaded new drivers and have done everything I can think of. The camera just won't work...XP detects it, saying I have new hardware, I run through the wizard and it just won't install the drivers. The usb ports are fine as a usb printer works on them.

Any suggestions?!

Installed service pack 2?

Closed anti-virus programs, messenger before installing?

334544 2005-03-17 01:41:00 Try installing the driver, then plugging the camera in. Sometimes the order matters. Sometimes the documentation is wrong. Sometimes it helps to install things on a Tuesday if the moon is full. ;) Graham L (2)
