334082 2005-03-15 00:47:00 Hi
i have a notebook (fairly new, xp, 1.6ghz centrino) and i have plugged an external monitor in to it, hoping to be able to have both screens running at the same time. i turned the notebook off, plugged the monitor in, then turned it back on again. when i turned it on, the external monitor showed the usual bios startup etc, and the notebook screen was off. when windows loaded the user logon screen, the external monitor switched of and the notebook screen back on. is there any way i can have both screens on at the same time, displaying the same thing?

334083 2005-03-15 00:52:00 Notebooks usually use a Fn + F5 or similar F key combination to toggle Laptop - External - Both Screens combination. Usually marked as a blue square on the appropriate F key. Or as described in the manual. godfather (25)
