| 334007 | 2005-03-15 10:05:00 | Try this while you wait. Make a new folder in c:\ and call it dump. Drag the file to that folder. Right-click folder and choose delete. Otherwise, if that doesn't work, restart PC and press F8 key rapidly after the memory test, until a black and white menu comes up. Choose command prompt. The type in and enter.. CD\ Then type and enter.. DEL C:\DUMP |

| 334008 | 2005-03-15 10:52:00 | If you can see the file you want to delete in Explorer/My Computer. Start - Run - cmd then press enter Find the file by going to the directory and typing in dir to get a directory listing. You can move out of folders by typing cd.. and into folders by typing cd foldername be aware if the names are too long there will be a ~ in the name, just type what you see in the directory listing. Hopefully by now you can see the file that you want to delete. Ctrl/Alt/Delete should bring up the Task Manager, find explorer.exe and click the End Process button. Go back to the black window and type del filename You can then go back to the task manager and on the Applications tab click New Task... button and type explorer.exe |

| 334009 | 2005-03-15 10:56:00 | Another idea if that dosent work, you may need to "take ownership" of that file to delete it through explorer. See here for instructions (support.microsoft.com) |

| 334011 | 2005-03-15 20:41:00 | Where did you save the folder on your c drive? If in the "root" of c: , (where the listings windows and program files are) Then restart in safemode ( pressing F8 rapidly after the memory count on switchon ). Then type and enter CD\ Then type and enter del dump That is if you named that folder you moved the file to is called dump. |
