334142 2005-03-15 21:17:00 I think the phone notification of temporary 'key' is a damn good idea......and as for the STUPID bank who only do tha tif the trans is over $2500.....well what if you have $1,000,000 in the bank but you do a $50 trans and your number gets hacked then the $999,950 dollars remaining get nicked..........pretty dumb idea..........

But 999,950 doesn't get nicked because how do they get it out of your account - its a transaction over $2500. See. Regardless who does the transaction[/QUOTE]

Also you can reduce that $2500 to what ever amount you like . eg $500.

334143 2005-03-16 00:04:00 that point has already been covered and it was 'originally' posted by me: drcspy....however I still say that that phone notification is a good idea and should most likely be done on every login ......of course the customer will have to pay...... drcspy (146)
334144 2005-03-16 00:36:00 Now it occurs to me that this will be stored in a file somewhere ..? And presumably be accessible to someone expert - which I'm not.
So should I worry? And if so, how do I delete it?FireFox encrypts the passwords, and as far as I know there it hasn't been compromised.

As opposed to IE which chucks em in the registry in plain text.

Wrong. You can actually view your saved passwords from within firefox.
