335469 2005-03-18 20:25:00 I frequently get this message on restarting my computer. Any idea what causes it.
There is nothing wrong with the file, As I am eventually able to get the computer starting. In the past I copied new versions, reinstalled XP etc, and did all kind of 'fixing' these days I just wait and eventually the computer will restart O.K.

So it looks more like a harware problem. Any ideas?

335470 2005-03-18 22:46:00 Click start then run and then type sfc /scannow. There is a space after sfc .

This will run the windows file checker it will ask for your install cd if it finds anything amiss.
