| 335514 | 2005-03-18 19:34:00 | Yup under the startup tab, after u type in msconfig. Just untick the entries u think are no longer installed. And reboot. Or whatever it is, it maybe under start/all programs/startup menu. |

| 335517 | 2005-03-18 19:49:00 | If uninstalled programs are still listed in the startup list (even if not ticked), then you might need to remove the old references to those programs from the registry. You can use a registry cleaner for this. CCleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com/) has been recommended many times on this forum. See if this helps. :) | Jen (38) | ||

See if this helps. :) Just fyi, cCleaner doesn't remove the msconfig entries - pretty sure I read ages ago somewhere that it has to be done manually. |
