| 335418 | 2005-03-19 01:29:00 | :D Probably this time when you powered up, everything was right, so the NIC was detected (including its MAC) so everything just worked the way it's supposed to. And usually does in Linux. ;) BTW, to see if any hardware has been detected by the system, dmesg | more is useful. |
