| 335390 | 2005-03-21 09:38:00 | I have finally finished downloading the new Driver. The game was working for a while with it, but it has started doing it again. I am not overclocking it. | 335392 | 2005-03-21 11:29:00 | The latest official drivers have the bug fixed,and if i remember correctly it was an incompatability with the via chipset, Pretty hard to do troubleshooting with beta drivers, Few of the Beta releases get official release for a good reason (as in they are crap) Was the driver upgrade a clean install? You would need to uninstall all nvidia software via the control panel,then delete the nvidia folder that is made on install,then run driver cleaner. Reboot. Install new drivers. As to heat,It can happen immediatly,it depends on how much work the card is doing, intensive dx9 effects can ask a lot of a card even in what apears to be a simple scene. Personally I would update the Motherboard drivers,kill off any background apps,do a clean install of the video drivers...If that doesn't work then try another psu ( At times I could blame all the worlds ills on PSU"s) If you have no joy,then i would return it, and the quicker you do that the better. |

| 335394 | 2005-03-21 20:53:00 | I have downloaded and am using the 67.03 Beta drivers for my 6600GT as they were the only drivers (at the time) that included the fix for the chipset incompatibility issue. if there are newer official release drivers that include that fix I expect it would be logical to get those instead, as I shall do if there's any available. |

| 335395 | 2005-03-22 05:24:00 | I clean installed the driver. I played it for half an hour or so last night and it worked fine. Just now it froze and the computer restarted. I sent the error report to Microsoft.. This is what they said. "Error Caused by Graphics Device Driver Thank you for submitting an error report.
