| 335668 | 2005-03-19 03:25:00 | Hi people, is anybody else getting a popup/alert about a new version of msn messenger 7 beta and when you click on ok (to install) it says 'Windows has found a problem with this file' saying it doesn't have a valid signature and when you click ok again the box disappears. MSN 7 is simply adding on more features (or bloat depending on your side of the coin). We've found MSN 7 works at work through the firewall/proxy whereas MSN 6.2 wouldnt :) |

It can be exploited by people to display overzealous of winks on your screen. |

I know there's exploits for MSN 6.5 which allow you to crash the remote contacts client when they view your picture, as well as remotely download and run arbitary code depending on the exploit. MSN 7 has fixed this..... |
