2005-03-18 06:59:00 Is there a way/software to make it possible for multiple users to connect to you? Because windowsxp allows only 1 connection at a time. t43m4n (7631)
2005-03-18 07:24:00 you will have to network them to your pc, and so you may need a hub or switch Prescott (11)
2005-03-18 11:08:00 How do i do that? t43m4n (7631)
2005-03-18 22:02:00 what os is on the other computers you want to connect to the xp machine, they will have to have network cards in them, im not that flash with networking so hopefully someone else can carry on from me :) Prescott (11)
2005-03-18 22:09:00 How many is multiple?? You can only have so much on XP home (5) and XP Pro (10), on a network. Speedy Gonzales (78)
2005-03-18 22:46:00 You need to use a router that supports multiple VPN connections, this way the router will do all of the VPN stuff and you just need the client to support tcp/ip. Just make sure that the router actually supports 'multiple connections' not 'multiple pass through connections'. Hope that makes sense. Loppy (7632)
2005-03-19 03:40:00 @speedy - around 6

2005-03-20 00:06:00 wait a second, i dont think im reading this right, do you mean you want some one to connect to you via the internet ie they are not at your place?

or do you mean you want to network 6pc's to your computer?

2005-03-20 07:50:00 what you first said. someone to connect to me via the internet and not locally. t43m4n (7631)
