336107 2005-03-20 09:10:00 Im a little confused as my Dialup Internet speed is registering as 460.8 Kbps

What would cause this?

336108 2005-03-20 09:21:00 It's just the computer measuring the speed between the computer <-> modem, as opposed to modem <-> intarwebnet Edward (31)
336109 2005-03-20 09:23:00 I have never had anything like it before Dannz (1668)
336110 2005-03-20 09:26:00 I once had my XTRA dialup 56k connect at around 189Kb/s, though I have no idea how/why

I don't think the modem is physically able to connect at that speed... :@@:

336111 2005-03-20 09:55:00 I have tried 3 or 4 times disconnecting, restarting and the dialing up again still the same connection speed of 460.8 Kbps

I did an online speed test and got
Communications - 33.5 kilobits per second
Storage - 4.1 kilobytes per second

No where near the 460.8 reported :D
