| 336000 | 2005-03-20 03:06:00 | I run Windoze ME, for my sins. I have recently (tried to) install Kodak Easyshare as a result of the purchase of a digital camera. This is the only reason I can find for a warning notice that pops up when I boot up saying that "trigger" has been blocked trying to access the net. I run AVG and it is stopping it connecting. I have done a variety on unsuccessful searches for info on this so far all to no avail. A pc search came up with a file called 'trigger.log' which is contained along with a couple of others in the above folder. The reason I believe it may be associated with the Kodak software is that this error message appears just after I get 'Windows has detected new hardware" and I tell it to search for the drivers. Numerous e-mails/0800 calls to Kodak prior to this stage have so far been futile, possibly due to my in ability to understand a word they are saying. Even my #2 son who has built this and many other pc's has not found a solution to the driver problem, albiet that this latest prblem has not been explored by him. Any info would be appreciatted |

| 336001 | 2005-03-20 03:22:00 | firstly AVG won't stop it accessing the net. AVG is an antivirus not a firewall. if AVG has picked a nasty up it should give you some details of it (look in the test logs). at a guess the camera connection is USB ?? did you install the software in the creect order? most of them you need to install the software BEFORE pluging in the camera. most come with instuctions on how to do this. |
