335761 2005-03-19 08:06:00 Hi all.

im just trying to figure out how to get my Xbox going on my PC...

i have the S-Video plugs in the GFX card, with the RCA plugs plugged in...im just wondering, how do i now get the Xbox to come up on the screen ?

is this actually possible ?...i know, why bother when i can just hook it to the TV...but im curious.

i got a Legend 6600GT GFX Card. is there any 3rd party utilities i need to get it going ?

Cheers
Jams.

Click on the desktop/properties/settings/advanced . Does an Nvidia icon appear here??

With the name of your videocard?? if so, you could try clicking on this, and then go to Full screen video (on the left / Full screen device on the right and change it to secondary device . See if anything appears on the TV .

Thats how I hooked this PC upto the TV .

The only thing is, it MAY or MAY not work with the s-video on the Xbox end and the RCA on the other end .

It MAY have to be either S-video from Xbox to s-video to the TV . Or if the Xbox has RCA, use RCA from the Xbox to the TV video input .
