| 335761 | 2005-03-19 08:06:00 | Hi all. im just trying to figure out how to get my Xbox going on my PC... i have the S-Video plugs in the GFX card, with the RCA plugs plugged in...im just wondering, how do i now get the Xbox to come up on the screen ? is this actually possible ?...i know, why bother when i can just hook it to the TV...but im curious. i got a Legend 6600GT GFX Card. is there any 3rd party utilities i need to get it going ? | 335762 | 2005-03-19 08:15:00 | If the videocard uses Nvidia drivers, u can most probably configure the Xbox thru that . Click on the desktop/properties/settings/advanced . Does an Nvidia icon appear here?? With the name of your videocard?? if so, you could try clicking on this, and then go to Full screen video (on the left / Full screen device on the right and change it to secondary device . See if anything appears on the TV . Thats how I hooked this PC upto the TV . The only thing is, it MAY or MAY not work with the s-video on the Xbox end and the RCA on the other end . It MAY have to be either S-video from Xbox to s-video to the TV . Or if the Xbox has RCA, use RCA from the Xbox to the TV video input . |
